About Us
RoundSphere, led by serial entrepreneur, Brandon Checketts, is a technology solutions company that provides essential resources and services for developing companies and ideas. We’ve founded a few successful companies, but also had our share of failures. We’ve learned a lot along the way, so our monetary losses aren’t without their silver lining. Ultimately, our desire is to provide an unmatched work experience that provides each employee an opportunity for personal growth, a daily education, a challenging work environment, a flexible work schedule, and a competitive salary.
Among Brandon's most successful ventures was the building and oversight of BookScouter, and later, Check-It Books. BookScouter was first created in 2007 as a way for college students to quickly search multiple book buyback companies’ websites to determine who would pay the most for their used textbooks. Since then BookScouter has become a staple for students, small business owners, and those simply wishing to de-clutter their lives and earn some money. BookScouter’s first iteration compared prices from 6 book buyback companies. Today, BookScouter performs price comparisons from over 75 book buyback companies, handling over 200,000 queries daily. Check-It Books, an online bookselling business, grew into a massive operation with a 16,000 square foot warehouse and 24 employees to maintain high customer service marks and the growing volume of books. In light of the success of Check-It Books, colleague and friend, Paul Johnson, desired to replicate the model with sporting goods and small electronic devices, thus PlugIt was founded. Both Brandon and Paul become heavily immersed in the rapidly growing online selling community and saw a bigger opportunity. While scouring data from both Check-It Books and PlugIt, Brandon searched for insights for how to propel their Amazon and eBay sales. Sourcing low competition, high margin products was their first software endeavor and led to the creation of Scope and SellerLabs. SellerLabs became a software and technology company built for supporting online sellers and small businesses, and Scope was their first product.
Following the success of Scope, SellerLabs launched FeedbackGenius and SearchRank while developing their highly anticipated inventory management software, Ignite. Ignite is scheduled to release in Summer 2014 with additional features and services to be rolled out thereafter.
